Par is the theoretical minimum number of steps needed to transform the starting word into POOP using valid four-letter words. It is calculated by a breadth-first search (BFS) algorithm over the entire accepted word list. Matching par means you found one of the shortest possible routes; beating par is impossible because par is the mathematical optimum.

Wordle asks you to guess a hidden five-letter word in six tries. Poople is a word ladder: you transform a starting word into POOP by changing one letter at a time, where every intermediate step must be a valid word.
